A grand historicist style 19th century palace overlooking Szilágyi Dezső Square.and the embankment
The building was designed by Kornél Neuschloss, one of the most prestigious architects of his time, in 1898-99 in an historicist style.
The main facade of the three-story building faces south, towards the reformed church at the centre of the Szilágyi Dezső Square.
The facades and the central staircase underwent a complete reconstruction between 2016 and 2019 and the house shines in its original splendor.
The building offers has changing rooms, showers, bicycle storage and a café serving hot lunches in the basement.
